I am not able to set up touch id in macOS monterey

Logic board and the Touch ID are replaced on 9th of november and on that day I updated the software to macOS Monterey. But today (14th November) when I am trying to set up the Touch ID, it is not detecting properly. After every touch on the Touch ID it is showing the same fingerprint layer, which is getting removed automatically after 2-3 sec.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.4

You do not say Intel 16" or M1 16"...?

if intel—

try both resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

and

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
