When I am in my home office, which has very weak wifi, the phone continuously notifies me of new voicemails - even though I do not have voicemail set up with my carrier. Is there anyway to stop these notifications?
You will still need to contact your carrier. They are responsible for voicemail, and are the only ones that can configure, reset, restore, or turn off voicemail for you. They will need to troubleshoot the issue.

Are you sure that you do not have voicemail? I suggest you contact your carrier to verify this. Voicemail is a carrier function, and it seems it is possible they did configure a voicemail box for you.
