I’ve tried multiple times to get my phone to download and install the new iOS 15.1 software update. After almost an hour of waiting for the download, it fails before the installation process. I’ve shut down my phone and turned it back on and retried the process. Again it failed. I’ve done this 3 times with no success

I'm assuming that you have tried these update "over-the-air" using a wireless connection ... correct? If so, have you tried temporarily connecting your iPhone directly to a computer to perform the update yet?

Make sure that your iPhone is setup to meet the following requirements before you attempt to update the iOS version-

I have my phone charged 100%, no VPN, 70+ GB of storage available, I do have high speed internet. I’m trying for the 6th+ time, no luck.
I’m currently connected to my computer, and iTunes. The update started but it says it will be over 3 hours until it’s completed.
I am assuming that you have also ensured that the iPhone is NOT in Low Power Mode.
