How can we block ALL text messages from email addresses?

Question

How can we block ALL text messages from email addresses?

Or would I even want to?

This is an on going problem which, apparently neither Apple nor AT&T want to take responsibility for. Messages coming from the prefix 1410xxxxxx, I have learned are not phone numbers but, come in through "email to text gateway". I don't have any friends or business associates that do that. Can all of them be blocked?

Would I then be block verification needed codes and the like?

Can we have a solution, please? Android, is able to do this. Why can't Apple???

Call AT&T customer service. Ask the rep that answers to look up article #446389 in their system.

That explains what they have to do on their end to block all SMS/MMS messages coming through the email gateway.

It's a simple process for them. Unfortunately, most of their customer service people have no idea that it can be done.

This feature is not available on iOS. You already knew this from your investigation with Apple and AT&T.

I was hoping they had solved it and I just hadn't found where yet. And I want help others find out what's possible or not.
