Apple TV 4K internal error message

I'm getting frustrated with Apple, regarding my relatively new Apple TV 4K. I'm getting a message at startup indicating some kind of internal error. The message directs me to the iManual for the unit. When I go look for that "iManual" all I can find is a somewhat confusing list of user guides. When I zero in on the one I suspect is the right one, it's asking me for an app so I can read it as an "apple book."

I've no idea if those user guides are even the same as the "iManual," and if they are, what the heck I have to do to be able to read it. Honestly, I can't help but get the sense that ultimately Apple is pushing me to buy something ( a book?) so I can see if I can fix a problem with their product.

At a minimum, I wish they'd be more consistent with their language (is an imanual the same as a user guide?) as well as where specifically one might find this magical manual/guide...

Can anybody point me in the right direction. I am a long time user of apple products, and in general, love the products, but am becoming less and less enamored of the company itself.

OK, some progress. Found I can read the book, once I select "books" and assign that app in a way that lets me open the "book." (It's all apple, so why didn't it just open? Conversely, why not just offer it as a downloadable .pdf, or something pretty much universal? They're making this so much harder than it has to be...) Now, let's see if whatever this User Guide is has any answers...
