Time machine backup and Storage

My SSD has 154 GB left because the other storage category is taking the most. And the solution is to wipe the storage away. So, if I use Time Machine backup to back up my MacBook and wipe the whole storage and reinstall macOS and restore using backup, will I still have the other storage category???

Try something like OmniDiskSweeper for a GUI to get a good look at itemized file size and location:
