It appears that distributed rendering across apple silicon machines for x265 output is broken.
I have raised a support ticket with Apple months ago, but as usual it has disappeared.
So I'm here in desperation.
Will Apple ever respond and fix this, as having paid for several machines specifically for this I'm beginning to lose will ?

Apple include this as the default, integrated encoder for FCPx.
They state that it is capable of distributed encoding.
Yet, it seems incapable of processing the two most widely used codecs in the world in this manner.
I have spent hours in sessions with their agents only for this to go completely cold.
Why would I continue to invest in this closed, walled garden ecosystem if they can't even get this right ?
It's even worse, not even x264 is working.
x264 & x265 are the most popular codec standards in the world.
