Apple Watch 7

I want to make sure of the following. Namely, I fully realize that if I want to purchase a titanium model of the Apple Watch 7 that it comes with the capability for both cellular and gps. If I do not activate the cellular capabilities, will the watch operate just fine as a GPS only model? I have no interest whatsoever in the cellular capabilities, but I do have an interest in purchasing the titanium case model. Thanks in advance for your responses.
