Payment Method Declined

I have tried on several occasions to add a payment method. Also called the bank to make sure that the card is cleared for international purchases. With Covid we are currently still in South Africa and I loaded an SA banking card as an extra payment method yet it keeps getting declined. If I change my region, I'm prompted to cancel my subscriptions. Really???


Help please.

If your App Store/iTunes account is not with the SA store, you cannot use a SA payment method.


Yes, to change the region for your account you must cancel previous subscriptions associated with your current region.
