Why is Logic Pro popping on GarageBand projects?

I recorded a live performance with GarageBand. It was quiet when I recorded it. It is quiet when I open it in GarageBand. But when I open it in Logic Pro there is a regular popping. When I say regular I mean it repeats at the same rate throughout the recording. I have done this before with no problem Why all of a sudden is it doing this? How can I stop it?

Logic creation unwanted loop regions after recording audio track Each time I record a vocal track, LOGIC repeats it until the end of the project post-recording. In other words, I record a vocal region, and after I press stop, the region I've recorded repeats itself to the end of the project... help please.
