After update to iOS 15.1 music on my phone ( iPhone 11 Pro) no longer plays in my 2011 Chevy Camaro using the lightning cable. Apple what are you doing to fix this problem???? Obviously I’m not the only Chevy owner with issues.

Apple what are you doing to alleviate this issue?? You would think that you would test all aspects of the update before you issue it for download.

Some users on these boards have reported issues with CarPlay. Those who have solved their issues have had to update the software on their radio. You may have to take it to a dealer if your over-the-air updates are not supported.

Otherwise, see if you can connect using bluetooth.

Yeah this is a real bummer. My car was in the shop for 2 months. Between the time it was being repaired my phone updated and no longer was able to connect when I got the car back. Definitely a software issue. Wish apple had an update to fix this. Very unfortunate considering I have a 3000 dollar system in my car not to mention the Bluetooth connection is a poorer quality then direct connection. Huge bummer.
