I am trying to download an app that was tied to an old apple ID. I have searched the internet for the answer…. and tried to log out and back in with current ID. Still not able to download the app. This was an app that was offloaded automatically so I am still not able to even delete it either. It just continuously asks me for the password of the old ID which is locked because it was tied to an old work email address.

Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to download them.

Either you can use your previous apple id or you can remove offloaded app then you can reinstall these apps.
Oh!! Interesting. I didn’t know I could delete offloaded app. I will go try that now and reinstall.
I feel so stupid now. That worked! I thought once it was “offloaded” it was actually off of my phone. I found the icon and deleted the app. Thank you!
