Apple mail, new rules disappear, macOS Monterey.

No matter how many times I do this, always repeated.

Even deleting old snapshot before setting new rules No difference.

Any thoughts out there?

mail rules allow only one entry -- all others disappeared I've had some form of this problem for about the last 6 months after years of loving apple mail rules. I can set all the rules I want and they will work fine for one application of them and then all but the first one disappears. I've deleted all rules and re-entered the ones I wanted...same issue. I have no idea where to go from here. Running one Mac Studio M1 ultra and two MBP's -- one m1 16 both with Ventura 13.2 and one intel 15 with Monterey with latest updates. thanks in advance for any ideas to try tom

Mail Rules Disappear I have a new MacBook Air M2 running Ventura 13.3.1 (a). Every time I quit Apple Mail or restart the MacBook my Rules disappear and I'm left with one rule: News From Apple. If I delete "News From Apple" and create a new rule, when I quit or restart the same thing happens. I've tested in Safe Mode, same thing. I've seen a few others ask this question here, but I haven't seen any solutions. I lost about 10 rules when I migrated from my old MacBook Pro to the Air, I thought it was isolated, but alas the problem persists.

Apple Mail Rules not working after macOS Ventura update The Rules I have in Apple Mail are again not automatically running when new emails are downloaded from Mindspring. This is a repeat issue for me and before it was "fixed" when I updated MacOS. Not a fix this time when I downloaded Ventura 13.4! FYI Apple Support and I created a work around! Open Rules, duplicate one of the existing rules, apply it, and all the Rules run, as it should, to scan my inbox. Then all I have to do is delete the "Copy of xx" that I just made. So I am doing this several times a day as I get 300+ emails per day. Lack of rules working automatically creates a forest of ?? This all started about 6/7or8/2023. Boot to Safe mode, which takes minutes, and see if rule will "stick".

If it does, can you add rules after a subsequent normal start?
