Hi EnesTr,

Currently, "You can set a Live Photo as wallpaper on all iPhone models except iPhone SE (1st generation). You can play the Live Photo on your Lock Screen, but not on your Home Screen." You can find those details here: Set a Live Photo as wallpaper on iPhone

As the feature may not work with Low Power Mode enabled, we'd recommend charging your iPhone and checking the motion settings to test. Charge the iPhone battery

If needed, the guide here can help you check the motion features as well: Customize iPhone for motion sensitivities

Cheers!

Hello EnesTr,

Apologies, it looks like the guide isn't fully updated with the correct information. We'd recommend reporting it using the feedback option at the bottom of the page. Set a Live Photo as wallpaper on iPhone

The article here: Change the wallpaper on your iPhone does mention "iPhone XR and iPhone SE (1st and 2nd generation) don't support Live Wallpaper."

Hope that helps to clarify, and be sure you submit feedback on the incorrect information on the guide page.

Cheers!

Hello EnesTr,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with live photos on the Lock Screen of your iPhone. We're happy to provide some information to assist.

Does the issue occur when your iPhone is fully charged or out of Low Power Mode?

If not, the issue is with Low Power Mode as it states some tasks will be disabled with this feature on.

Specifically the following section:

"Low Power Mode reduces or affects these features:

  • Email fetch
  • Background app refresh
  • Automatic downloads
  • Some visual effects
  • Auto-Lock (defaults to 30 seconds)
  • iCloud Photos (temporarily paused)
  • 5G (except for video streaming)

When Low Power Mode is on, the battery in the status bar will be yellow. You'll see  and the battery percentage. After you charge your iPhone to 80% or higher, Low Power Mode automatically turns off."

You can also double-check your visual/motion settings with the steps here: Reduce screen motion on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Best!

Hi EnesTr,

Understood, just wanted to make sure you had the actual requirement information for the feature per the iPhone User Guide. You may also want to double-check your iPhone model to be sure. Identify your iPhone model

Also, when the live photo is set "To see your new Live wallpaper in action, touch and hold the Lock screen." You can find that information here: Change the wallpaper on your iPhone

Change the wallpaper on iPhone has some additional visual features you can check to be sure.

Best!
