how to merge faces in photos

I have several different face for the same person

in Photos. How do I merge the faces into one face

Go into the Persons view, and drag the group of one of the same faces and drag it onto the face of the one you want to use as the standard for that person.

Merging faces in photos I have 4 different group of pictures with my faces and my exact same name but it sees them as separate names. If I try and change the name with the drop down it doesn't change them. How do I fix this? Thanks!
