Unable to add Comcast email to MacBook Pro

Unable to verify user name and password is the message I get when trying to get Comcast email on my MacBook Pro.

I've tried a number of suggested actions but still am shut out.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.0

cannot access Comcast email via Apple Mail (MacBook m1) I'm having problems adding my Comcast account to a brand new MacBook M1 via Apple Mail. It keeps giving me the "unable to verify account name or password". I know the account name and password is correct as I'm able to log onto Comcast webmail. If tried many times and can't get around this. Has anyone else encountered this and resolved

10 core i9 iMac- Catalina, comcast email won't accept my correct password. After reading the prior questions and responses on this subject there still has been no clear or even suggested fix. So after following all of the various suggestions, ie. restart, log out, delete accounts, etc. there doesn't seem to be any clear means to create an email account for comcast mail, and yes I verified that my password works by logging in to my email using safari. No problems with my email account in high sierra BTW. Please help.

Unable to verify account name or password I am having trouble creating an email account. New MacBook Air running Monterey 12.3. I have set up my 3 other emails without problems. The troublesome email is a go daddy account. I am positive the email name and password is correct as I can easily log on in web mail. I have tried everything including deleting and re-entering several times, advanced settings and ports, the enter password and "tab" approach to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Contact Comcast CS, some of their services could be down…
