Transfer video file failure

Hi, I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, had it since launch and I've been noticing a few issues with it. To start off, originally I wasn't able to see how much my storage was being used up in the settings of the iPhone. however once I connected it to my computer, it was able to somewhat "update" the amount of storage that is being used. I looked up a few sites regarding it, but everyone seems to think its not something too crazy to think about. so, I've recorded multiple videos on my phone with hopes to transfer the videos over to my computer. But I keep running into these issues where; my computer wont recognize the phone is unlocked and plugged it, or even after it recognize it, it wont transfer any of the videos I have over. I've tried multiple things, I tried small videos, big videos, 4k 60fps, 1080, 60fps, but just when I thought I was able to figure it out. It sometimes wont even recognize the videos I have but will show me everything else! I have windows 10, tried photos, iTunes, even just going into the file itself in windows, and it still wont work. I believe it has to do with iPhone storage issues, and I was wondering if anyone may have a solution for me? or did apple really just screwed me out of the one feature I was looking forward to using and utilizing, camera and storage. I used a lightning port to usb type A, I don't have type C connector on my computer.

I appreciate your reply miss Erica_S1,

I’ve check out the links, and have tried multiple different things. My father also got the same phone as I do, but with more space (mine is 256gb, his 512gb). I made an attempt. I recorded another video, about an hour long in 4k 60fps on my fathers phone, then I tried with my computer to transfer the said video over. Now I tried multiple cables, different USB ports, even a laptop that have usb -c connection, but for what ever reason the phones either won’t recognize the video clips, or as it’s getting transferred over it suddenly stop partway and then don’t even recognize the phone as any form of a device, and a bit more. I also checked to see if the my father phone may also have similar storage issues as my own, and in a way it does have some bugs here and there.

now, I’m not completely 100% certain if it’s all apple that the issues lies, it could very well be Microsoft as a part of it. Im also not sure if I happen to be some of the unlucky few that got a defective device, But the storage issue persists, in my phone regardless. Any other suggestions? Should I see if it’s on Microsoft’s end that’s causing the issues

Thank you!
