DND - can see notification without unlocking

I keep Do Not Disturb (DND) on my iPad 24/7 because I only use it for school and don't want notifications to pop up while I'm sharing screen or working on something that requires attention. I also use my iPad to receive emails and texts and other notifications as well.

In iPadOS14 and iOS14, I was able to just skim the notifications on my iPad when I hear a ding on my iPhone. But now, I need to unlock my iPad to see those notifications. How can see I notification when DND is on even when device is locked? I would appreciate the help in advance!

Hi,

Thanks for your response. I think I have figured out what I needed to do. Settings>Focus>Do Not Disturb>Lock Screen>Show On Lock Screen.

And no, I don't want scheduled summary. I think scheduled summary waits till a certain time to deliver your notifications, right? I want my notifications right away, not at a later time.

And yes, I updated from iPadOS 14 to iPadOS 15.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It seems like you want to scroll through your notifications on the Lock Screen, but you have to unlock the iPad to see them.

Did you upgrade from iOS 14 to iOS 15?

Do you have Scheduled Summary enabled? Go to Settings > Notifications > Scheduled Summary

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
