bluetooth connection challenges

My iPhone 10 Bluetooth does not recognize my Ultimate Ears speaker. Thoughts on how to effectively pair them up? Thanks.

You must put the speaker into Pairing mode, then go to Settings/Bluetooth on your iPhone. You will need to consult the speaker manual or website for how to enable Pairing mode.

You’re welcome. To keep Bluetooth connections secure you need to pair a device to the phone the first time. Otherwise, anyone with any BT device could choose to connect it to your phone.
