My safari keeps saying that its not up to date but I don't have any updates showing up in my app store or in my system preferences. It won't let me update my OS either.

My safari says it needs updated but no update is listed in my app store or my system preferences. Certain websites are no longer letting me use them.

I will offer two point. First, if no OS update is listed, that means that your current operating system is currently up to date. Second, Safari is installed as part of the OS and can not be individually installed. To get a newer version, you will have to upgrade your OS, if your computer will accept a higher OS. What it can install depends on the year and model your Mac.
