Porting Apps etc. from old Mac Book to New one

What's the best way to port everything but the OS, from my 2013 Mac Book Pro to the new M1 Mac Book Pro?

MacBook Pro 17″, OS X 10.11

Best Way Transfer Data:

By backing up your Mac with a Time Machine Backup, and then transferring it through use of Migration Assistant.

Note: 32-bit Apps won't Work

Note that 32bit Apps will not work on Catalina and After. So, older apps may not run. To work around that, contact the developer, requesting a 64-bit installer for it.
