The folders on my iPad are too small after upgrade to 15.1 - I don’t have vision problems, but it is too hard to see the icons in the folders after the upgrade. I cannot see anywhere to change the folder size.

Ok, so it actually seems that ‘Use Large App Icons’ does work, but they are now at the same spacing as the smaller icons, which scrunches them all up and makes them harder to read as AJ@ has found: I don’t have a visual impairment either, but would like them back at the wider spacing cos it’s just nicer! Any way to get them spaced back out again?

To increase the size of the folders, you can select Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Text Size and increase the size, although you may select Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Larger Text and turn it on. However, this can increase the size of the text.
A related change in IOS 15 is that the default icon size has decreased. However, you charge it back at Settings / Home Screen & Dock / Use Large App Icons.
