Which device are you pairing up with? If you're setting them up with an Android device, Mac or another device, you'll want to use the Beats app, as discussed here: Introduce your device to the Beats app for Android
If you're setting them up with your iOS/iPadOS device, you won't need the app. Check out this article for steps: Set up and use your Beats Flex earphones after service
