Is it safe to connect two USB-C monitors to MacBook Pro (2019)?

I have a pair of LG 27UP850-W monitors. This monitor is capable of charging the connected device via USB-C (up to 96W).

I'd like to connect both monitors to MacBook Pro (2019) via two USB-C cables/ports. Is this safe to do?

I wonder if MacBook Pro is smart enough to only accept charge from one of the two monitors and "ignore" the other one.

I know this is possible, and that I can feed each monitor from the Macbook’s Thunderbolt ports (and or HDMI port) My concern is that the monitor (of which I plan to use two) has a USB-C input with charging capability for the laptop, which is ideal (when using one external monitor) Can the second monitor be connected in the same way though, or should I use the monitors HDMI input because using the second monitors USB-C with charging capability same as the first one effectively try to “charge” the Macbook twice and short circuit something? Am just trying to A) avoid burning a new MBP14 and also B) be able to make the most of the hubs integrated into each monitor and use their ports for other external devices (printer, mouse, etc…)

MacBook Air M2 Charging with USB C? With the new MagSafe charger, can the MacBooks still be charged with the USB C port? Asking this because a lot of new monitors have USB C charging and display support. Display AND Charging through the one plug. I've just purchased 2 new monitors with this feature, but wondering if I've lost the advantage and now need this. Cheers

Charging MacBook Pro 16 Via 2 USB-C Cables? My MacBook Pro 16 charges while connected to my LG monitor via a USB-C cable. If I plug the wall charger USB-C cable into my MacBook, will it charge using both cables, pick one, or neither? Curious because I'm not sure if the monitor is actually delivering enough juice to the MacBook and I don't want to potentially fry the computer by plugging in the charger at the same time.

Even though it appears to be safe to plug two chargers in a MacBook Pro, I am not going to risk it. Will connect one monitor via USB-C and the other one via HDMI. Better safe than sorry.
