iPhone 12 mini disabled it self

Hi there so I was out and had my phone in my pocket and my hand was in there because it was cold. Suddenly there was a male voice on my phone and my phone was disabled? I reset the phone and waited the time it said and it came back on. But I’m confused on where the voice came from, could I’ve accidentally hit the emergency button? Or is it just a voice recording?

Help! Voice command took over my phone! iPhone X Hi. Not sure how this happened but no touch controls work. If I touch anything on my screen, voice control reads what I have touched. It read off the date on my Home Screen when I touched the date for example. I can’t put in my passcode or anything. I tried Siri but no clue as to how to reset. I tried holding the power button and volume button to turn it off and it called 911! Ugh. Help! Using my IPad now but need my phone!
