Phone screen going dark

I have an iPhone 11 that in the past two days has started turning down the brightness automatically to the point where I can barely read the screen. I don't know if there is a fix for this or if it's a sign that my phone is starting to die already. If anyone has any solutions to stop this from happening please let me know. My phone is not even two years old yet so it shouldn't be dying already.
