Apple Gift Card

I received an email with a confirmation number for a gift card purchase. I did not purchase a gift card and don’t know the person it is being sent to. How can I tell if this was purchased from my account and if so, cancel it? The email came to my email address, and my email is listed in the email. The billing contact name and phone number are someone else but it lists my email. I have looked in my account purchases and don’t have any gift cards.
