On the system macOS Catalina I used to have 2 external monitors and all was working good. Recently I have reinstalled system to macOS Monterey and on Monterey, I can't use 2 external monitors at the same time. If I connect them by one, one is working, but not both at the same time.
What should I change in order to get both monitors operational at the same time?

I solved this problem by replacing 1 cable. usb with - hdmi to usb with - displayport. after that, everything works. The second cable left usb with - hdmi
I had both monitors connected through type C-type C. When I have replaced one of the monitors cable to HDMI - type C, both started to work. The other left working type C-type C.
Try reducing the refresh rate or reducing the resolution you are using.
If this is related to HDMI 4K resolution displays, especially at 60Hz refresh rate, there may be something in the chain that is for an older version of HDMI, and it used to work on older MacOS, but newer version has made a change that uses it to fail.
