MacBook Pro 2021 with Apple M1 Pro connection to 2 external monitors

The information I posted (two monitors, each with its own cable plugged in USBC ports of the MacBookPro, works jut fine). The statement by Grant "Macs support multiple displays on one cable when that cable and the first device are genuine ThunderBolt devices" is too restricting (requires the monitors to be daisy chained, a setup not required by my machine (2021, Intel CPU)

I would never expect to find someone negating my experience for lack of pictures, so let me assure you without providing any pictures: I am using two (parallel) cables with HDMI connectors on one end and USBC on the other. The two USBC cables are plugged in two (only) two ports on the left side of my Macbook PRO

I have a similar setup (my computer is the last one with Intel chip) and am happily using two monitors connected to Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports.

Macs do not support two displays on any other kinds of cable including USB-C.

I do not know why the images I added (and were visible before i pushed "post" button) are now "invisible"

to have images reliably posted, you must use the "image Insertion" icon in the reply footer on the forums.

Drag-and drop images are not reliable.

Thanks for the advice. I did use the image insert icon, so it seems that adding images is indeed unreliable (note that we are in the year 2022 :-(

No one knows anything about how your displays are connected but you -- you did not post any words to describe the connection, and your pictures are still not showing.
