The green light on the back means you activated the heart app. Press the crown button to exit and return to watch face

For font see: Adjust text size and other visual settings on Apple Watch - Apple Support

If it’s not responding, try restarting by pressing both the crown and side buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears
