MacBook won’t turn on

Last night I went to turn on my MacBook and it turned on like normal, once I logged in, the screen went dark for a second and then shut off, so I thought maybe it died, I went to plug it in and let it charge, I went to turn it back on and I noticed a quiet squealing noise coming from where the fan is located, the laptop didn’t even turn on this time, the screen will light up but that’s as far as it will go and it will turn back off not even after a second it turns on. I think a part of it has to do with the fan but I’m not sure.

Perhaps to arrange for the MacBook to visit and spend time with

an actual in-person inspection, diagnostic, and other testings to

see what's behind this malfunction may be best.

• Mac Repair - Official Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/mac/repair/service

The Mac goes to tech support, and you wait at a distance.

Or you may drop product off, after online details are given.

• Apple - Find Locations (sales, service, support, AASP, other)

https://locate.apple.com/

If there are Apple store or AASP service support locations,

the same kinda thing. An in-store Genius by appointment

may lead to several days or week-long service waits.

• Get Support - Apple

https://getsupport.apple.com/

Since I've never done any of those, a long story remains unsaid;

your options online are entry points, and may vary according to

the location you enter into the official Apple pages you visit.

• Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/

(software + hardware -or- unknown: troubleshoot-to-resolve)

[An older non-AppleCare service may primarily access AASP &

that could mean use of 'repair depot' service; remote repairs

may utilize parcel service; or internal/external tech support.]

• Apple Repair and Repair Status Check - Official Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/repair

To find 'other countries' Apple Locations; may enable the seeker

to contact the 'local/regional/country' to perhaps find an AASP.

• Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector : (sales, service, support; AASP, etc)

https://locate.apple.com/findlocations

Good luck & happy trails!
