Saving files from OneDrive to iPhone

Hello everyone.

I'm currently using Android, but considering making a switch to an iPhone. Pretty much all of the applications I use on a daily basis are available on iOS, but just have a question about OneDrive. I use OneDrive every day and I'm constantly downloading files and so on.

I've been told by some people it's easy to download files directly, and been told it's awkward to do so from other people. Can someone just clarify if you can download files (whether it be a photo, music file, Word document, etc.) directly from the OneDrive app, or do you need to use, or do something else? I know there's a My Files app for iPhone too.

Thanks in advance.
