New screenshot sound notification on MacOS Monterey - how to turn off?

I'm a big fan of taking screenshots. But with my new Macbook Pro running MacOS Monterey (v 12.0), every time I take a screenshot I not only get the normal camera-shutter screenshot noise (which i'm accustomed to), but a new beepBEEP notification.

It's vastly annoying and my dog hates it. I haven't found a way to turn it off. Has anyone had any luck by chance? I'd hate to have to mute my sound every time I need to take a screenshot.

I do not know of a way to disable only the screenshot sound effect but you can disable all of them including the empty trash sound, etc. by going to System Preferences -> Audio -> Sound Effects -> Uncheck the "Play user interface sound effects". You can also turn off the famous startup Bong sound by unchecking "Play sound on startup" as well as the feedback sound when changing the volume.
