I scanned the ports on my router and port 50576 is open which is odd. This is reported as an Xsan Filesystem Access for Apple. For our iPads none of us currently use the cloud but we may have stuff stored on there before we stopped using the cloud. What is this port used for and can I close it without ruining the functionality of our iPads and one MacBook.

As for why this port is open on your Router, assuming that you have the skills to do so, you’ll need to examine your local network for a device/computer that has this service enabled.
If you have no knowledge or need for services to be connecting to the internet, you should manually disable this port.
You are presumably using a NAT Router with UPnP enabled.
If you cannot disable unwanted services on your computer, or close ports on your router, you may instead need to disable UPnP on the Router - and then manually configure port-forwarding for services that you wish to allow internet access.
Based on the wiki info, is this port to sync the files and software on all apple devices?
Also this port is open on an Ubuntu virtual machine that I created.
Our router does not allow closing ports. Is there another way to manually close the ports without calling our internet service provider?
