CarPlay iOS 15.1 VW Tiguan and iPhone 8 Plus

Maybe this question has been asked, but are there any fixes for CarPlay not connecting to App Connect in VW infotainment systems? I have exactly the same vehicle setup used on iOS 14.8, which functioned fine.


My vehicle setup:

iPhone 8 Plus

iOS 15.1 installed.

All ScreenTime app settings checked to accept

Music EQ is disabled as suggested elsewhere.

VW Tiguan 2020

Latest VW App-Connect installed.

Swapping Lightening cable doesn't help.
