I just got back from vacations and my Apple tv is acting up. It seems like the internet speed in the device itself is way to slow to load content (I did a speed test and it was less than 1mb). Other devices including macbook pro and iPhone have more than 200mb in the same wifi network.
I did a reset of the entire system and still doesn't work.
Please do the following. It is another method of resetting.
· Unplug Modem from it’s power source for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in.
· Unplug Router from it’s power source for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in.
· Unplug Apple TV from it’s power source for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in and retest the system.
I did it and seems to fix it for like 30 mins. The wifi speed on the Apple TV measured by Speedtest is 20. When I use LAN it is 800mpbs. A huge difference.
