Smart Playlists on macOS not Syncing with iOS and watchOS

Does anyone know why Smartplaylist on Mac no longer sync with other devices? I pay for iTunes Match as well not that, that should have anything to do with it. It looks like Apple may have taken away this feature for smart playlists and only allowed playlists to sync to other devices if you don't pay for Apple Music. Can anyone verify if that is that correct?

We see you were viewing "Access your music library on all your devices" and it did not resolve your issue.


Follow the steps in this article to create a test Smart Playlist:


Create, edit, and delete Smart Playlists in Music on Mac


Then quit the Music app on both devices. Open the Music app on both devices and check for your test Smart Playlist.
