Why is Photo Booth not recording?

Hello,

I have used this MacBook for over a month now, ever since I purchased it from Apple Canada. I love this MacBook Air and enjoy it a lot but there is one thing I'm having troubles is with the Photo Booth recording. Every time I want to record a video, I click the red button to record and it stops and doesn't want to record anything.

I am also having a bit issues with the iMovie camera thing as well.

Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
