Is there no way to disable this new Mac "LOCK" key top right corner of Magic Keyboard?

You can try the demo version of Keyboard Maestro to see if you can remap that key to another function.

Old issue, new issue, what changed?

This is no different than any other Mac keyboard...with either —

• lock key
• power key
• TouchID key

It seems like you need to simply dial in your usage/ pattern...ie refine your technique.
