Apple Watch unable to send voice iMessage on new iMessages notifications

Hi, I am not sure anyone got this problem or just me. I noticed my watch isn’t always allow me to reply voice iMessages when a new iMessage came through if I just swipe down from the notifications, it will show “dictation failed” but when I go to the actual message page and use the voice recording again, it works. I have no idea why. It happens with the keyboard, when I reply the new messages it doesn’t allow me to choose between different keyboard, but if I go to the actual app itself I can then choose it.

is there some settings I got it wrong?

i am not sure I describe my problems clearly or not, it is a bit odd to me.
