Please help me change language flag for Russian. Want to change Russian flag to some other icon.
Context:
Im from Ukraine and Russian Federation use language to concur my country, so I don't want to see flag of the aggressor during day to day use.
Rus != Russian Federation (Russian Language not equal Russian Federation).
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0
If I understand you right, you suggest to add Ukrainian keyboard and remove Russian. this will not help, I have use Ukrainian language, but I also need Russian in my daily work. No option to change flag for Russian keyboard in or outside settings I didn't found.

This can be done easily with Ukelele. You just make a custom keyboard which is the same as Russian, but give it no flag.
Go to System Preferences >Keyboard >Input Sources> + > Ukrainian
Close the window and click on the flag and change it from Russian to Ukrainian
