Trying to make prints on Photoshop latest version. Results horrible. When looking further Photoshop says I need a new Graphic Processor to run Photoshop. Which Graphics card should I get and where?
Have INTEL Graphics 4000 MB. Use 27" Monitor.
Just updated Photoshop so maybe I need that Graphics card anyway . Is there a way to test old card?

Sorry, you cannot upgrade any internal components (such as the processor or graphics) other than the RAM.
If Photoshop doesn't work anymore, you need to upgrade to a new Mac.

Exactly what model and year Mac do you have?
You can find that info by clicking the (Apple) menu at the top of your screen and then select About This Mac.

I do not think the problem is the GPU. The Intel 4000 does qualify, I believe.
Rather, the problem is the 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 that doesn't meet the PS processor requirement.
The first line of the macOS requirements in the link I posted above states "Intel processor with 64-bit support; 2 GHz or faster processor with SSE 4.2 or later". That is going to be an Intel Core i7 processor or better. The i5 only supports SSE 3, iirc.

Thanks for your reply. I have a 2012 Mac Mini, processor 2.5 GHz Dual Core Intel Core 15, Memory 16GB 1600MHz DDR3, Graphics Card INTEL HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB...... I know this machine is getting long in the tooth but I'm hoping to flog it for a few more months. Is there way way to upgrade the INTEL card? I appreciate your help. Peter
