NEW Apple TV 4K --> Denon 3700h --> Sony A80J

Someone else posted this but couldn't respond to it and it directed me to here but anyway for NO DOLBY VISION activated when using ATV to Denon to Sony. But Atmos will work.

When connecting directly to Sony TV both DV DA work no problem.

This was no problem on my old LG CX

HDMI: Belkin 48GBPS

Denon: Set to enhanced 8K and using eARC out/in etc

Apple TV: Match content etc on; YCbCr on with 4:4:4 - video capability checked

Firmware/Software all updated for all devices.

Significant color banding/posterization in the Apple TV UI and displayed content (with match dynamic range and frame rate off). This goes away in HDR10 and SDR modes, or if changing the refresh rate to 30hz or 24 for content with match frame rate enabled. This doesn’t occur with same gear on my other UHD TV, but also doesn’t occur with non Apple TV sources. It’s something about the two devices. I’m of course harassing Hisense about this, but they are blaming the ATV…

Apple TV 2, Sony Bravia and Sonos Beam My sonos beam on a Bravia sony (XBR-55X700D) says I'm using AIRPLAY for audio. • The Sonos beam is connected using HDMI ARC to the Sony. • Apple TV 2 is connected through another HDMI connection (not ARC). Why does Sonos app indicate audio is coming in through Airplay? The Apple TV is directly connected to the Bravia. Shouldn't the Sonos audio play through the Sony into the Apple TV? Not through Airplay?
