Unsuccessful Activation

I bought a IPhone 13 yesterday. everything was going well until I got the error Unsuccessful Activation for my IMessage, and FaceTime. I tried all the troubleshooting options on the Apple Support page. Including resetting network settings. Nothing was working so went into my new carrier Verizon to get help and they told me I needed to go to Apple. So I am currently stuck because I haven't got anything to work.

Hello there edresbach,

I see you're looking for help with both iMessage and FaceTime as they haven't activated yet, so let's see how we can help.

With your iPhone, you'll want to be sure you're connected to a good Wi-Fi network or have good service with your cellular data when you sign in and attempt to activate both iMessage and FaceTime. In addition to this, activating both iMessage and FaceTime can take up to 24 hours so be sure you leave them enabled for at least that period of time. Check out the steps of the following resource to see if this will clear up what is occurring.

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime

If you see that you're still unable to activate iMessage and FaceTime, you'll want to Contact Apple Support directly to look into this in more detail.

Have a great day!
