Speaker automatically turning on.

Today on 3 different occasions the speaker would come on while using phone not near my face or hands. It’s actually concerning as to what, how and why it keeps doing this.

Try the Following:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Accessibility
  3. Tap: VoiceOver
  4. Tap: Audio
  5. Tap: Auto-select Speaker in Call (so that it is greyed-out)
  6. As it Reads: "During audio calls, automatically switch to the speaker when not holding your iPhone to your ear."
