Certain primary sources for correct dmg iso images were

intended for Apple Developers, with ADC license to use.

https://osxdaily.com/where-download-macos-installers/

Others may still find actual old original disc media; some grey-label

& other useful Mac OS discs w/ retail-label for wider vintage usage.

(The following two disk images are the complete installer DVD in DMG

format. The downloads come directly from Apple, and require an ADC login

to access.) - untested waters and without Apple Developer code:

[Have not checked these for validity; or yet to see if they're really OK]

• The Vintage Software Collection [Apple] : Free Software + Download [etc] | Internet Archive

https://archive.org/details/vintagesoftware?&and[]=creator%3A%22apple%22

several links in these seem to work; worth exploring:

Some are more sketchy than others; most are failed archives. An OK read-through.

https://osxdaily.com/2018/06/23/where-to-download-old-mac-os-software-from/

A few leads may be online; while their links no longer pull up anything useful.

https://lowendmac.com has archive; some failed, some OK. (amid certificate issues)

Well, as time and disinterest pervades, these are rare; but not necessarily valuable

to anyone but a collector or advanced hobbyist who likes to fix vintage Macs.

Some of those G5 Towers are harder to get; while the hardware often still

works, software is yet another layer of mixed troubles to wade through.

Had set out to do something else; this is where I ended up @ 3AM!

Good luck & happy computing!🌤🌿❄️☃️

Glad to be of some help. Had a few other items you

may be interested in for research-sake with PM G5.

Some manuals on lower part of this page may be

worthwhile; a few of them (in PDF?) are G5 guides.

..Also not sure if you're familiar with "liquid-cooled"

PM G5 2004/05 these, different than air-cooled ones.

Perhaps there needs to be some organizing in old browser links, to find

more content? Of these, some were migrated from PowerPC G3/G4 Mac

into early Firefox from Safari; into some bootable clones, etc. ~ & more?

Oh, got to thinking (again) and recollect those PM G5, and later G4 Towers

had some odd software; very specific to their build model years. A topic to

research further (how/run classic OS9?) as well. Started a this search thread:

Anyway this kinda looks like a 'blogger's outpost' here.

We can't have that!

I had my hands on mac for the first time. All I wanted was to get my hands dirty with macOS. While I was waiting for some response to my question, I was also downloading iso that is 7.83 gb from archive.org. I completed the download, but now may be need to find Dual Layer DVD to create a bootable disk out of this iso. I will give it a try to create a bootable usb out of this to install OS on this wonderfully crafted machine.

Nevertheless, Information you shared is really helpful for someone like me - who was hoping give purpose to old enough Power Mac. If my attempt to get this machine run on macOS X leopard fails, I will just archive (in my attic) this heavy aluminum box, or recycle it.

Thanks
