i have someone else’s airpods

i lost my airpods a while back and my bus driver said that he found a pair on the bus a few weeks later. i thought they were mine so he gave me them (they look the exact same) and i’ve been using them until it popped up with another apple id 😟 which means i have someone else’s airpods that aren’t mine and it looks like i stole them but i legit don’t know how to get them back to the person. i don’t want to go to jail i’m only 15
