I bought a new iPhone recently and I was told that I can claim free Apple TV for 1 year, is this true? if so how can I claim it? I already download the Apple TV app and also already login my apple id on my new iPhone, but I didn't get the offer.

Redeem the offer on your new eligible Apple device, in the TV app. Only one offer per user or Family, regardless of number of devices purchased. The 3 months free Apple TV+ offer is not available if you or your Family have previously accepted the Apple TV+ one year free offer.

Note that for Macs, users have to additionally sign in to the TV app (menu Account), for the redeem option to appear.
I just upgraded to T Mobile Magenta Max and searched on T Mobile website for Apple TV+ and the page directed men to the promotions page and redirected me to the Apple website including the promo code. I entered my Apple ID and it applied the promo. I hope that helps.
