Migration assistant stuck?

How long should it take to’ transfer info between two MB Pros using Migration Assistant? I am attempting to transfer data from my 2014 MB Pro (200GB) to MB Pro 2021. After 6 hours the screens show no progress. Any ideas? Thank you!}

How do I know if migration assistant is stuck? I am migrating data from a MacBook Pro 15” to a new MacBook Pro 16”. I chose to migrate the data and settings but not applications. The time remaining has not changed since the start of this process, it reported 4 hours 37 minutes when I started it reports 4:37 mins now. It’s been about 1 hour since I started, the transfer rate has slowly crept up from 30MB/s to 40MB/s since the start but appears to have topped out at 40MB/s. Is it even working? Is possible to somehow determine if it’s working?

Migration Assistant migration assistant (MA) running for 15 hours. From: 2011 MacBook Pro/High Sierra To: 2018 MacBook Pro/Mojove. Wondering if moving 475gb of data should take this long, or if this is normal. no error messages progress bar almost to the end both units spinning wheel (not rainbow, just network spinning wheel) At what point do I terminate the process? Hi,

Probably connection between the two MacBook Pro is something wrong.

I think instead of WiFi connection, you'd better connect two MacBook Pro via USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 adapter for Migration Data.
