I am transferring data from old iPad to newest byQuickstart and after 76 hours it is not complete. Is this normal? Should I restart?

I am transferring data from old iPad to newest with QuickStart. It has been transferring over 6 hours and still not complete. Is this normal or should I restart the process?

Depending upon the amount of data that you have to transfer from old to new iPad, the transfers may take many hours. If the process has stalled, you can always restart.


“Transfer” is rather a misnomer. In reality, your data and setup is merely cloned to the new device. Nothing is moved or removed from the original device.
